Richmond Folk Festival 2013

August 21, 2013

What compliments the cool crisp air of a beautiful October night?  That's easy- GREAT MUSIC!

The Richmond Folk Festival is almost here again!  This free event has been a major hit in years past -bringing in over one hundred fifty thousand people! The folk festival does not disappoint. Imagine a large river-front field full of people dancing to folk songs from various cultures and regions from around the world. Add food, trinkets, and a few adult beverages to the mix , and you get the vibe of a darn successful festival.

This year will be no different as the festival has promised even more performers with styles ranging from polka, to reggae, to western swing. So, no matter what your preference, you are bound to hear something you like, and you may even find a rare jewel you never knew existed.
